Ski Day...A Fun Day!

Hello readers, I found the energy after hitting the slopes yesterday to enter into the bloggers-phere realm of possibilities.  Anyway, yesterday we loaded up the troops for a family day at Lost Trail.  The weather man was a day off on his prediction, but it worked out well, as the Montana Big Sky opened up and delivered 4" of soft flakes of goodness.

It was an extreme struggle to get everyone out the door, but as we proceeded to the hill, anxiety set in.  Remember we have a 3 year old that wants to everything and a 6 year old that's as fearless and skilled; however, we spend most, hold on all day on the bunny hill.  The morning session was a good one as we were trying to figure out the toe rope and the snow plow..all the things we did in Utah, only a year ago.  After an hour on the bunny slope, it was time for some hot cocoa with Grandma and for me to take a few runs on the big boy hill.

I found many fresh lines next to the trees and discovered that I'm pretty rusty.  Usually by now I've gone 2-3 times and the break in period was gone, but not this time around.  After lunch we cranked out a few more hours on the bunny slope, then it Holli and I took off with her family for 3 more runs on the day!

Lot's of fun, fustration, and excitement all in one day, enough to cause you ask yourself "why."  Why? Because who wouldn't.  I want my boys to experience more than I ever got too, and that means a lot!  I'm hoping to get one more time in before we head back to California...Snow flies next week... TBD, Chao.
